    Thank you for sharing the great list of plug-ins. Security should be the first thing that you should look into when you have a blog. Not all plug-ins are that effective though. As much as possible you should look for reviews of a certain plug-in before using them

    I have used a couple of these plugins and had good results. Security is a VERY important issue with such a popular platform as WordPress. I cuurently am using Better WP Security on a few of my blogs as it has all the features necessary for strong security., causing me not to have to use additional plugins.

    I was using wp login lockdown, but a few days ago my wordpress site dashboard pass was changed. i recover them and changed it to a strong pass via pctools password generator.
