INTRODUCTION-WHAT IS SEO ?

 SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is a technique that  improves the visibility, status and rank of a webpage, blog or a website in search engines like Google (the most popular among all), BING and YAHOO ,and thus it increases the possibility of users to visit in your website.

  • SEO is a powerful
    web marketing technique that helps in generating traffic from search engines.
  • SEO target
    different kind of search ,including video search, image search and local search. Users don’t often click on pages of search results if they are not on the first page of Google or any other search engine, so the site that comes 
    on the first page is more likely to get huge traffic.
  • Basically SEO is all about understanding the way the how search engine works and giving it what it wants.
  • SEO is not a process that produces significant result in a few days, or even a month’s like web designing.

White Hat & Black Hat SEO.

White Hat are web designers that follow guidelines and techniques that search engines recommends in order to optimize their website.

Black Hat are web designers that use backdoors, cloaking, 
spamming and other methods to optimise their website.

White Hat techniques will help you move up on the search engines, 
hence help you to increase your site rank, whereas by using Black Hat techniques, the website is not ranked in search engines (Google) and your domain may be caught for spamming.

 WHY WEBSITE, BLOGS NEED SEO?

 

Majority web sites generate web traffic from search engines, according to the query or phrase provided by user. Search engages maintains the database of websitesand provides best result to user. Whether your site provides content, products, or information, search engines are a primary method of navigation for internet users.Search engine provide targeted visitor to your website and thus it increases publicity, revenue, and exposure like no other. So a successful website must comply functions inevitably related with Search engines.

    I work for an SEO company. It used to be so easy to get sites to rank. Now that Google has rolled out so many changes, it’s getting harder and harder to rank.

    SEO has helped one’s blog or website ranked higher for it has employed the basic “syndicating technique” This is the term I’m using. Now the giant search engine has noticed this and it has sensed something tricky or shall we put it something deceitful. Now it is really getting harder and harder to be on the first page of the search unless you write a quality blog, unique page, and discreet link. Presto! your site will be ranked on the top.

      you can get rid of penguin update by focusing on creating quality backlinks,produce unique content and avoid over optimization.

    There are some who are already doing black hat methods without knowing that they’re actually using black hat SEO techniques. They’re blinded by the fact that it works only for a short term, but then ends up being dumped in the lower pages of the search results or, even worse, being completely removed from the results pages. It would be better if you worked with an SEO reseller that has a good track record, and a good reputation of being someone that uses ethical techniques for optimization.
